Congress leaders raise concerns over E20 petrol engine maintenance costs

Congress leader Santosh Singh Saluja has supported Rahul Gandhi's concerns regarding the use of E20 petrol, claiming it could cause significant engine and maintenance issues for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.

Saluja argued that the transition to E20 petrol will increase the economic burden on vehicle owners due to rising maintenance costs, suggesting that the benefits of this policy favor government officials rather than the general public. He called for public awareness and indicated that the Congress party would support movements against the fuel implementation.

In response, BJP leaders Neeraj Singh and Union Minister Annapurna Devi criticized Rahul Gandhi's political stance. Singh questioned Gandhi's agenda regarding youth issues, specifically citing student protests in Jharkhand, while Devi accused the opposition leader of being directionless and avoiding meaningful parliamentary discussion.
