Congress MLA Abhay Mishra faces backlash over controversial remarks

Congress MLA Abhay Mishra from the Simaria constituency in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, has sparked political controversy following remarks regarding the dignity of deceased women. While discussing the management at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital and the recent death of a woman and her unborn child, Mishra made allegations concerning the treatment of female bodies in the post-mortem room.

In response, BJP state spokesperson Ajay Singh Yadav has demanded strict action against the Congress legislator. Yadav condemned the remarks as highly offensive and undignified, stating that such comments insult the dignity of deceased women. He urged the Congress leadership to take immediate disciplinary action and issue a public apology, suggesting that if the MLA has factual evidence, it should be presented to the police or investigative agencies rather than making derogatory statements.
