Congresso em Foco Awards recognize Brazilian federal deputies

The 19th edition of the Congresso em Foco Awards recognized several Brazilian federal deputies for their legislative performance.

Erika Hilton (PSOL-SP) set a record by winning in four categories, including best deputy in the Chamber by popular vote, highest-rated by journalists, selection by the technical jury, and best deputy for the state of São Paulo. Her work has focused on human rights, women's rights, and LGBTQIA+ rights, as well as proposals regarding work schedules.

Tabata Amaral (PSB-SP) was selected by the technical jury as one of the ten most prominent federal deputies. Her recognition stems from her work in education, youth policies, and her role as rapporteur for legislation criminalizing misogyny.

Camila Jara (PT-MS) was voted by the public as the best federal deputy representing Mato Grosso do Sul. Her legislative focus includes social rights, the environment, and technology, including participation in commissions regarding artificial intelligence regulation and work hour reductions.
