Congstar expands home internet services in Germany

Telecommunications provider congstar is expanding its home internet offerings with the introduction of a new 5G service and promotional pricing for existing home tariffs.

The new “5G Zuhause” service, launched on November 3, 2026, provides unlimited data via the Telekom mobile network. Unlike standard mobile hotspots, this service is tied to a specific fixed address and is intended for locations where traditional landline connections are unavailable. The service is offered in two speed tiers: 5G Zuhause 50, providing up to 50 Mbit/s download, and 5G Zuhause 100, providing up to 100 Mbit/s download. Both options are available with 24-month contracts or monthly cancellable Flex models.

Additionally, congstar has announced that it will waive the 50 Euro connection fee for all “Zuhause” tariffs until November 17, 2026. This applies to both DSL and fiber optic connections. Depending on the specific tariff and contract duration, customers may also receive additional bonuses ranging from 30 to 80 Euros.
