CONI and Sisal launch Win for Italia Team sports lottery

CONI and Sisal are launching ‘Win for Italia Team’, a new national lottery designed to fund Italian sports and the Olympic ‘Italia Team’. The game is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 28, 2026, following a two-year experimental phase.

Participants select six numbers between 1 and 40 for a minimum cost of 2 euros. Daily drawings will take place at 20:00 via a certified random number generator. The game features five prize categories, with the highest award given to those who match all six numbers. While 65% of the total collection is allocated to prizes, 26.5% of the proceeds is specifically reserved to finance CONI and projects related to the Italian Olympic team.

CONI President Luciano Buonfiglio described the project as a way to return to a tradition of sports funding, while General Secretary Carlo Mornati emphasized the social purpose of the lottery, noting it is intended to allow citizens to contribute to the success of Italian athletes.
