CONI President seeks ANAC opinion on Diana Bianchedi appointment

Luciano Buonfiglio, president of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), has requested an opinion from the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC) regarding the appointment of Diana Bianchedi as head of the Italian national team delegation.

Buonfiglio stated that the request for an ANAC opinion is intended to protect Bianchedi’s reputation and competence, as well as to safeguard the CONI presidency and board. The move aims to prevent potential legal or procedural errors regarding possible incompatibilities between her role as head of the delegation and her positions within the CONI board and vice-presidency.
