CONMEBOL and Teletón announce 2026 charity match

CONMEBOL and the Fundación Teletón Paraguay have announced the fifth edition of the 'Partido de las Estrellas 2026'. The charity event, dubbed the ‘Clásico de Clásicos’, will feature legendary players from the Paraguayan clubs Olimpia and Cerro Porteño.

The match is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, at the American School of Asunción (ASA) Multipurpose Sports Center. All proceeds from the event will be directed toward supporting the integral and free rehabilitation services provided by the Fundación Teletón Paraguay as part of the Teletón Marathon 2026.

Confirmed participants for Cerro Porteño include Antony Silva, Santiago Salcedo, and Guillermo Beltrán, under the direction of Nino Arrúa. Olimpia’s roster features figures such as Ricardo Tavarelli, Denis Caniza, and Nelson Cuevas, with Nery Pumpido serving as technical director. Tickets are priced at G. 50,000.
