Conmebol announces referees for Copa Libertadores quarter-finals

Conmebol has announced the officiating crews for several Copa Libertadores quarter-final matchups.

In the clash between Liga de Quito and Palmeiras, Venezuelan referee Jesús Valenzuela will lead the officiating team, supported by Jorge Urrego and Tulio Moreno, with Juan Soto handling VAR duties. This match is scheduled for September 9 at Allianz Parque.

Independiente del Valle will host Flamengo on September 10 at the Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa. Argentine official Facundo Tello has been appointed to referee the match, assisted by Cristian Navarro and Gabriel Chade, with Silvio Trucco on VAR.

In another quarter-final fixture, Uruguayan referee Esteban Ostojich has been selected to officiate the first leg between Estudiantes and Corinthians. The match will take place on Wednesday at the UNO stadium.
