CONMEBOL Liga Evolución Beach Soccer begins in Bolivia
The CONMEBOL Liga Evolución Beach Soccer – South Zone 2026 tournament begins on Wednesday, September 9, in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The competition features national teams from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
A unique aspect of this tournament is that each participating country enters two squads: a senior team and a Sub-20 team. The results from both categories are combined to determine a single overall classification for the South Zone. The winner of this zone will advance to face the North Zone champion in the Liga Evolución final.
Matches will be held at the Complejo Villa Olímpica Abraham Telchi, which has been equipped with a specific beach soccer pitch, artificial lighting, and spectator seating. Argentina is scheduled to debut against Bolivia on Wednesday, with the Sub-20 match followed by the senior team match. All tournament matches will be broadcast live via CONMEBOL’s official YouTube channel.
