CONMEBOL releases round‑of‑16 schedule for 2026 Copa Libertadores

CONMEBOL published the dates, venues and kickoff times for the eight round‑of‑16 ties of the 2026 Copa Libertadores. The first‑leg matches are set for 11‑13 August and the second‑leg matches for 18‑20 August. Brazilian clubs participating are Mirassol, Palmeiras, Cruzeiro, Flamengo, Fluminense and Corinthians. Mirassol will host LDU Ecuador at Estádio José Maria de Campos Maia in Mirassol on 13 August at 19:00 BRT, with the return leg on 20 August in Quito.

Other fixtures include Fluminense vs Independiente Rivadavia at the Maracanã, Palmeiras vs Cerro Porteño at Allianz Parque, Cruzeiro vs Flamengo in Belo Horizonte and Corinthians vs Rosario Central in Argentina. Teams that reach the round‑of‑16 receive US$1.25 million from CONMEBOL, rising to US$1.7 million for quarter‑final qualification.

CONMEBOL also released the calendar for the Copa Sudamericana playoffs, naming four Brazilian representatives – Red Bull Bragantino, Grêmio, Santos and Vasco – and outlining their first‑leg dates and venues across Venezuela, Colombia, Bolivia and Peru.
