CONMEBOL Sub-20 Beach Soccer group stage concludes in Lima

The group stage of the CONMEBOL Sub-20 Beach Soccer tournament in Lima, Peru, has concluded, determining the participants for the final phase scheduled for August 29 at the Estadio Playa Agua Dulce.

In Group B, Brazil secured the top position after a 2-1 victory over Paraguay. Paraguay finished as the group runner-up following a 5-1 win against Uruguay, highlighted by a hat-trick from Thiago Barrios. Ecuador also secured a 5-1 victory over Uruguay to finish fourth in the group.

In Group A, Colombia and Venezuela advanced, with Colombia leading the group after a 3-2 win over Venezuela. Chile also progressed following a penalty shootout victory against Peru after a 4-4 draw. The semifinals will feature Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, and Venezuela.
