Connecticut casinos report revenue and industry honors

Foxwoods Resort Casino reported $32.9 million in slot revenue for July 2026, resulting in an $8.3 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut per the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s revenue agreement. During the month, guests won over $21.1 million in jackpots, including a $1.2 million progressive win on an IGT Wheel of Fortune machine. The casino also earned a Guinness World Records title for the largest single-house bingo payout of $440,000.

Mohegan Sun received 34 awards in Casino Player Magazine’s Best of Gaming 2026, including 16 first-place finishes. Notable honors included “Best Overall Gaming Resort,” “Best Casino,” and “Best Hotel.” The resort continues to maintain extensive gaming operations, including nearly 4,000 slots and a large sportsbook featuring the largest continuous video wall on the east coast.
