Connecticut Husky Saves Child from Charging Black Bear

Security‑camera footage captured a husky intervening as a black bear charged toward a young boy playing in the driveway of the Tazzara family home in Torrington, Connecticut. The dog leapt between the animal and the child, chased the bear and forced it to retreat, allowing the child to escape unharmed.

The family’s father, Jeff Tazzura, said the dog’s protective instincts are well‑known and promised to reward the animal with a T‑bone steak.
