New York Times and The Athletic release daily Connections puzzles

The New York Times and its sports property, The Athletic, continue to release daily word puzzles through their Connections game series. The standard NYT Connections game requires players to group 16 words into four color-coded categories based on common themes.

The Sports Edition of the game, developed in association with The Athletic, specifically tests the knowledge of sports fans by using athletic-themed categories and terminology.
