Conner Leavitt eliminated in ‘Dancing With the Stars’ premiere

Conner Leavitt was the first contestant eliminated from the Season 35 premiere of ‘Dancing With the Stars’. Partnered with professional dancer Adele Zaikman, Leavitt performed a salsa to Tag Team’s ‘Whoomp! (There It Is)’, receiving a score of 12/30 from the judges.

Leavitt, known from ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’, expressed gratitude for the experience and praised Zaikman following his exit. His wife, Whitney Leavitt, a former contestant who reached the semifinals last season, posted a supportive message on social media, encouraging him to ‘keep going after the things that scare you’.

The premiere has drawn viewer attention due to the elimination of two pairings anchored by new professionals: Leavitt with Zaikman, and Sarah Jane Nader with Hailey Bills. Additionally, the season's first same-sex pairing, Nader and Bills, was also eliminated during the opening week.
