Connie Miller-McIntyre donates 240 euros to Serbian boy selling lemonade
Olympiacos basketball player Connie Miller-McIntyre made a significant donation to a young boy selling lemonade in the Umka region of Serbia. While in Belgrade for summer training, the American guard stopped at a roadside stand operated by a boy named Relja.
During the first encounter, Miller-McIntyre purchased a bottle of lemonade and gave the boy 3,000 Serbian dinars (approximately 25 euros). After the boy replenished his stock with his mother, the player returned an hour later and provided an additional 25,000 dinars (approximately 213 euros).
Relja reported that the total amount of roughly 240 euros would be used to purchase basketball shoes and fund his upcoming training sessions.
