Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams absent from 2026 Emmys

Actors Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams were absent from the 2026 Emmy Awards ceremony. While Storrie previously attended the Creative Arts Emmys following a nomination for his guest appearance on ‘Saturday Night Live’, the duo did not appear for the main event.

Their breakout series, ‘Heated Rivalry’, was ineligible for Emmy consideration because it is a Canadian production. The series is produced and financed by the Canadian company Crave, with HBO Max serving only as the U.S. distributor. Under Television Academy rules, a series must be a co-production with a U.S. partner from the beginning to be eligible for U.S. awards.

Storrie and Williams are currently in Toronto filming the second season of ‘Heated Rivalry’, which is based on material from Rachel Reid’s ‘The Long Game’.
