Conor Anderson found dead in Nashville after being reported missing

Conor Anderson, a 31-year-old man from Colorado, was found dead in a wooded area near a parking lot in East Nashville on August 20. Metro Nashville police reported that there were no immediate indications of foul play, and the medical examiner is expected to determine the cause of death.

Anderson had traveled to Nashville to attend a work conference and was staying at the Millennium Maxwell House hotel. He was last seen early Sunday morning in the area of Woodland Street and Main Street.

According to police, Anderson had interacted with officers around 1 a.m. on Sunday after reporting that he had given $20 to men who promised to show him around the area but instead walked away with his money. After declining to provide a driver's license to file a formal report, Anderson agreed to take a rideshare back to his hotel. Detectives have since been reviewing surveillance, phone, and bank records as part of the investigation.
