Conor McGregor dismisses Khabib Nurmagomedov and rules out Dagestan training ahead of UFC 329

Ahead of UFC 329, former two‑division champion Conor McGregor said he has no plans to travel to Dagestan for a 2–3‑year training stint, despite a large fan base there. He told Full Send MMA, “I wouldn’t go. I’ll tell you that right now. I f***ing wouldn’t go.”

McGregor also used the same interview platform to attack Khabib Nurmagomedov’s legacy, claiming the retired Dagestani “has done nothing in the sport” and that his record lacks depth. He added, “Come on, the guy’s done nothing in the sport, he got nothing in the sport.”

The Irish fighter is preparing to meet Max Holloway at UFC 329, positioning his comments as part of the buildup to the bout.
