Conor McGregor focuses on knee rehabilitation in Los Angeles
Conor McGregor is currently in Los Angeles focusing on rehabilitation following a significant knee injury sustained during his UFC 329 bout against Max Holloway. The injury, which occurred in the first round of their welterweight rematch on July 11, involved damage to both his ACL and meniscus.
Dillon Danis, a longtime training partner and friend, reported that McGregor has moved past the initial emotional difficulty of the setback. Danis noted that McGregor has isolated himself to focus on recovery, utilizing round-the-clock nursing support and performing necessary rehabilitation exercises.
While no official fight date has been set, McGregor has previously expressed interest in returning to competition as early as International Fight Week in July 2027. This follows a five-year absence from the Octagon prior to the injury.
