Conor McGregor to Face Max Holloway at UFC 329 in Las Vegas

Irish mixed‑martial‑arts star Conor McGregor will return to the octagon after a five‑year hiatus, meeting former featherweight champion Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 329 on July 11, 2026. The bout will take place at the T‑Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and will be contested at welterweight (170 lb).

McGregor said the UFC offered him a "great deal" and expressed satisfaction with the arrangement, noting the organization had finally honored him. His previous scheduled fight in June 2024 against Michael Chandler was cancelled after he suffered a broken pinky toe.

UFC president Dana White announced the matchup in May, dismissing speculation that the timing of the announcement was linked to other promotional events. No further changes to McGregor’s promotional affiliation have been reported.
