Conor McGregor to Return at UFC 329 Against Max Holloway
Former two‑division champion Conor McGregor is set to make his UFC comeback at UFC 329 on 11 July in Las Vegas’s T‑Mobile Arena. After a five‑year absence – his last bout in 2021 ended in a loss to Dustin Poirier and a broken leg – McGregor will headline the event against former featherweight champion Max Holloway.
In recent interviews, McGregor said he will bring his children to the fight to show them “discipline, dedication and commitment,” and he expressed confidence that Holloway will not land a single punch. Holloway, who recently lost to Charles Oliveira and the BMF title, responded with his own bravado, pledging to prove his striking prowess.
The bout, billed as a welter‑weight showdown, follows their 2013 featherweight meeting, which McGregor won by unanimous decision. Anticipation is high among fans, with the arena expected to hold about 30,000 spectators.
