ConSalud 2026 awards recognize Spanish health initiatives and leadership

The ConSalud 2026 awards, held in Madrid, recognized several Spanish regional health initiatives and political figures.

Castilla-La Mancha received the ‘One Health Project 2026’ award for its H3.0 Health Plan. This strategic framework, which guides regional health planning through 2030, integrates human health with animal health, the environment, and social determinants. The plan emphasizes digital health, personalized medicine, and climate change adaptation to move toward a preventive, data-driven healthcare model.

Additionally, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, President of the Community of Madrid, was named ‘Politician of the Year’ by ConSalud. The award recognizes her institutional role in managing healthcare services, including primary and hospital care, resource planning, and the integration of new technologies within the region.
