Consar Ravenna begins 2026/27 season preparations

Consar Ravenna has officially commenced its 2026/27 season with a morning gathering at Pala Costa. Under the guidance of coach Antonio Valentini, the team is beginning preparations for its debut in the Serie A2 championship.

President Matteo Rossi emphasized the continuity of the club's long-term project, noting that the strategy established with Valentini three years ago remains in place. The club's focus continues to be the development of young talent, including players from their own youth sector. The Ravenna youth system currently includes 11 men's and 11 women's teams, totaling over 400 registered members.

The initial training sessions included physical tests and weight training. While most of the squad was present, Simone Fabbri was absent due to his call-up to the Italian national beach volleyball team for the Under 20 European Championships.
