ConSenso social cooperative showcases ethical pasta in Sicily

The social cooperative ConSenso reported a successful participation in the 18th edition of the Festa dei Sapori Madoniti d'Autunno, held in Petralia Sottana from October 23 to 25.

A central feature of the event was L'Arte dei Primi, an ethical artisanal pasta factory based in San Cataldo. Developed under the PASTA FrOLLe project and supported by the Intesa Sanpaolo Charity Fund, the initiative combines high-quality Sicilian food production with professional inclusion programs for individuals with autism and other vulnerabilities.

Visitors showed significant interest in the cooperative's fresh and dried pasta, which is made using selected Sicilian grains, bronze die extrusion, and slow drying processes. Beyond the food quality, the project was recognized for its social mission, using professional training to foster autonomy and social participation for its workers.
