Conservatorio Bellini Board of Directors renewed for three-year term

The Italian Ministry of University and Research has formalized the renewal of the Board of Directors for the Vincenzo Bellini Conservatory in Catania for the next three-year term.

The new board includes the reappointment of lawyer Francesco Pio Leotta as the expert designated by the Ministry. New appointments include Professor Giuseppe Montemagno, designated by the Academic Council, and student representative Gaetano Contarino. These members will work alongside President Carmelo Galati, Artistic Director Giovanni Anastasio, and Symphony Orchestra Director Epifanio Comis.

MEP Marco Falcone commented on the renewal, expressing support for the board's mission to strengthen the institution, promote internationalization, and enhance cultural and educational offerings, with a primary focus on student opportunities.
