Conservatorio Cantelli opens 2026 RossiniLAB registrations

The Conservatorio Guido Cantelli in Novara has opened registrations for the 2026 edition of RossiniLAB-Cantelli. This advanced training, research, and artistic production project is dedicated to the study of Gioachino Rossini’s musical works.

Since its inception in 2021, the lab has expanded to include various conservatory departments, offering masterclasses, conferences, and interdisciplinary activities. The 2026 program features specific paths such as a seminar on ‘Péchés de vieillesse’ led by pianist Alessandro Marangoni, and a seminar on ‘Il Barbiere di Siviglia’ directed by Giovanni Botta and Hongbo Mao. These sessions aim to provide direct experience with Rossinian repertoire through the study of performance practice and interpretation.
