Conservatory Outlet Group announces new aluminium factory in Doncaster

Conservatory Outlet Group, a UK-based home improvement company, has announced plans to establish its first aluminium manufacturing facility in Doncaster. The project involves transforming a 15,000-square-foot factory into a purpose-built production site, which is expected to create 20 new jobs.

The investment includes the installation of dedicated CNC machines, cutting centres, and crimpers, allowing the group—which comprises CO Manufacturing and CO Home Improvements—to produce its own aluminium products for the first time. CEO Greg Kane stated the move aims to broaden the company's product range and provide higher standards and improved lead times for its network of 30 retailers.

The announcement follows a 12 per cent increase in sales across the CO Retail Network in England, Wales, and Scotland, despite challenging economic conditions. The group also plans to launch new product lines, including the Extreme window range and a Flush Sash suite, in the coming year.
