Conservatório UFMG hosts 4th VIOrizontes Colloquium

The 4th VIOrizontes Colloquium, themed ‘Violões em rede, práticas, saberes e sociedade’, has commenced at the Conservatório UFMG. The event features a diverse program including concerts, lectures, roundtables, academic presentations, workshops, and book and album launches.

The colloquium aims to showcase artistic and academic production from both inside and outside the university to preserve the country's musical and cultural memory. Activities include lectures on contemporary music research and 20th-century Brazilian music, alongside performances by various artists such as Duo Retratos, Victor Vale, and the UFMG Guitar Camerata.
