Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa hosts CPR training sessions

The Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa (CST) held its third annual cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) awareness and training session in Raval de Montserrat. Organized by the CST Simulation Unit in collaboration with the municipal governments of Terrassa and Rubí, the event coincided with World Cardiac Arrest Day.

The training program included participation from six educational centers in Terrassa, two in Rubí, and one in Sabadell. Medical professionals emphasized that bystander intervention through chest compressions significantly increases survival rates during cardiac arrest. The initiative aimed to provide citizens and young people with life-saving skills and a sense of social responsibility, with participation expected to exceed 1,000 people.
