Constable Jennifer Allen of the Saanich Police Department has been awarded the 2026 Road Safety Lifetime Achievement Award by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police.

Allen’s career in policing spans over 23 years, including service in California and Saanich since 2016. Her work has focused on addressing high-risk driving behaviors such as excessive speed and impaired driving. During her tenure, she has issued more than 10,000 violation tickets and successfully removed 349 impaired drivers from the streets of the Capital Region.

In addition to enforcement, Allen has developed scenario-based training to assist new officers with investigative strategies and decision-making regarding roadside prohibitions.
