Constanța and Vaslui approve new urban development projects

Constanța City Hall issued six urban planning certificates for a plot on General Manu Street, outlining various mixed‑use block concepts such as residential‑commercial towers, purely residential blocks, and combined residential, commercial, office and underground parking schemes. All certificates except one (certificate 1.796) require an additional opportunity permit under Romanian land‑use law, and are valid for one year. Investor Niculai D has examined the different scenarios for the site.

Vaslui City Hall approved a ground‑level parking facility on the former thermal‑plant site on Dimitrie Sturza Street. The project will provide 42 parking spaces, including two for people with disabilities, and will include paved access roads, sidewalks, lighting, drainage, video surveillance, waste bins and green areas. A previously considered two‑level garage was dropped because the cost‑benefit analysis showed it would be too expensive for the modest increase in capacity. The new lot aims to ease traffic, reduce illegal parking and improve urban safety.
