Constanța approves 300-hectare urban park and residential project

The Constanța Local Council has approved the commencement of expropriation procedures for private lands required to develop a new urban park and residential area along the DN 3C road. The project, part of the “Regenerare și Revitalizare Urbană Zona DN 3C” zonal urban plan (PUZ), aims to create a 300-hectare development including green spaces, housing, and commercial areas.

The planned area is located between DN 3C and the alternative road connecting Constanța to Ovidiu, north of Bulevardul Aurel Vlaicu. The development is intended to serve both current residents and the wider Metropolitan Area, functioning as a large-scale urban park designed to improve environmental conditions and quality of life. Documentation for the project has reached the third stage of the approval process.
