Constanța approves Faleză Nord urban development project

Constanța Mayor Vergil Chițac has secured approval from local councilors for an urban rehabilitation project in the Faleză Nord district. The plan involves developing parking spaces and green areas on Banu Mihalcea Street.

The project requires the expropriation of a 454-square-meter property owned by Iulian Petcu. The municipality has allocated 158,900 euros in compensation for the expropriation. The initiative had previously been paused due to legal challenges from the property owner, who had sought to proceed with private construction on the site.
