Constanța to face hot water outage during summer peak
Residents and tourists in Constanța, Romania, will face a hot water outage for approximately one week, from August 16 to August 23. The interruption affects all units connected to the centralized heating system.
Termocentrale Constanța announced that the shutdown is necessary to facilitate the connection of new thermal energy production sources. This work is part of the project ‘High-efficiency cogeneration thermal energy production source in Constanța municipality’.
The total shutdown of production facilities is scheduled to begin on August 16 at 22:00. The company stated that the resumption of hot water supply will occur in stages starting from August 23 following the completion of the works.
