Constanța to host 2026 National Dinghy Championship

The Romanian Yachting Federation (FRY) will host the 2026 National Dinghy Championship from August 25 to 30 at the Tomis Tourist Harbor in Constanța. The event features athletes from six different clubs and is set to take place on the Black Sea.

To ensure participant safety, the competition will utilize one of the most extensive safety deployments to date, including 11 rapid rescue vessels mobilized simultaneously with authorization from the Constanța Harbor Master and the Coast Guard.

Notable participants include Ebru Bolat, an athlete from the 2024 Olympic Games and a regular on the international ILCA circuit. The venue, Tomis Harbor, has become a central hub for Romanian yachting, recently hosting the EurILCA EUROPA Cup and serving as a training site for several clubs.
