Constanța water supply halted for 14 hours during infrastructure works

RAJA SA will suspend the potable water supply in central Constanța for 14 hours, starting at 23:00 on 24 June 2026 and ending at 13:00 on 25 June 2026. The interruption supports rehabilitation and connection works on water networks at several major intersections, part of the CL 3 contract worth about 23 million lei under the POIM program.

Residents in the central zone bounded by Călărași, I. Ghe. Duca, Avram Iancu, and other streets will experience a lack of water, while low‑pressure water will be provided to the Peninsula and Ovidiu areas. Authorities advise consumers to store a minimal water reserve and use the supplied water only for domestic purposes until it clears.

The project aims to improve service quality, reduce network losses, and ensure long‑term water supply continuity for the city.
