The Constanta Court of Appeal has overturned the conviction of American rapper Wiz Khalifa in Romania. The court admitted a challenge to annul the previous criminal decision issued on December 18, 2025, and subsequently canceled the prison sentence execution warrant previously issued by the Constanta Tribunal.

A new hearing has been scheduled for November 12, 2026, to reconsider the appeal filed by DIICOT prosecutors. The court has also ordered measures to ensure the defendant's presence via videoconference.

A new case involving the rapper was registered on August 26, 2026, at the Constanta Court of Appeal. The proceedings, categorized under illegal drug use, are currently in the stage of a challenge for annulment and appeal.
