Chișinău Suspends Traffic for Road Repairs on Sarmizegetusa and Vadul lui Vodă

The Chișinău City Hall announced a temporary full suspension of vehicular traffic on Sarmizegetusa Street between Burebista and Cuza‑Vodă for road‑repair works. The closures will occur in two night phases: from 22:00 on 24 July to 06:00 on 25 July, and from 22:00 on 25 July to 07:00 on 26 July.

In addition, traffic will be partially restricted on Vadul lui Vodă Street from 25 July to 12 August while a slurry‑seal bituminous layer is applied. The work will be staged lane by lane to keep traffic moving safely. During the Sarmizegetusa closure, trolleybus lines 20 and 28 will be rerouted via Muncești Road. Drivers are urged to follow traffic‑control officers and observe the temporary signage.

These measures aim to complete the current pavement repairs and improve road conditions in the capital.
