Constitutional Court dismisses abuse complaint in Plzeň
The Constitutional Court has dismissed a complaint filed by a student from Plzeň regarding allegations of sexual abuse against his father. The case originated from a police investigation that concluded no crime had occurred.
According to the court's decision, the investigation determined that the child's claims likely stemmed from a misunderstanding of medical care for diaper rash. Expert testimony in sexology ruled out sexual deviation in the suspect, and evidence suggested the father was merely applying cream to the child's skin. The court noted that the child maintains a positive relationship with his father and that the initial suspicions were influenced by the mother's interpretation of the child's statements. Additionally, investigations at the residence identified issues regarding the mother's alcohol consumption, which contributed to heightened tensions within the family.
