Construcţii Erbaşu secures 61 million lei for Ilfov recycling plant

Construcţii Erbaşu has secured 60.7 million lei from BRD to develop a construction and demolition waste recycling plant in Căldăraru, Ilfov County. The 10-year financing supports a project also backed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

The facility, built on over 12,000 square meters, is designed to process more than 450,000 tons of waste annually. This includes approximately 410,000 tons of concrete and asphalt, alongside 40,000 tons of wood, plastic, cardboard, and metals. The plant also features a dedicated glass recycling line with a capacity of at least 1,200 tons per year.

To promote a circular economy, the plant will utilize advanced technologies, including IoT systems and automated monitoring, aiming to digitalize 70% of its operational flow. Sustainability features include over 560 photovoltaic panels, rainwater reuse systems, and electric machinery to increase energy efficiency.
