Construction advances on Shopping Promenade Lleida and Begues housing

Construction is accelerating on the Shopping Promenade Lleida project in Spain. Following the completion of earthworks and foundation stages, the walls for the first buildings are now being erected. A major component of the complex will be a 5,000-square-meter Esclat hypermarket by Bonpreu, which will include a gas station, a minimarket, and an online order collection point.

Promoted by Eurofund and Frey, the project represents a 145 million euro investment covering 56,000 square meters between the La Bordeta and Els Mangraners neighborhoods. The development, which includes urban landscaping and the planting of approximately 1,000 trees, is scheduled to open in 2027.

In Begues, construction has also commenced on a new social housing development. The project consists of 33 protected homes distributed across three buildings. The current phase involves excavation for an underground parking lot and site preparation using a modular construction system designed to accelerate the building process.
