Construction begins on new residential projects in Potsdam and Kissing

Construction has commenced on several housing projects in Germany to address local residential needs. In the Am Stern district of Potsdam, the Federal Agency for Real Estate (BImA) has begun work on 141 apartments located on Jagdhausstraße. These units are intended for federal employees, supporting the expansion of the Federal Police Headquarters, which expects its workforce to grow from 1,500 to 1,800 by 2032. The project, involving a mid-double-digit million euro investment, is scheduled for completion by the fourth quarter of 2029.

In Kissing, local officials marked the start of construction for 14 social housing units on Rosenstraße. Managed by the Wohnbau GmbH for the Aichach-Friedberg district, the project will provide affordable living spaces for approximately 50 residents. The development includes various apartment sizes, balconies, a playground, and noise protection measures. Completion is expected by mid-2028.
