Construction developments progress in Dahlheim and Hof
Construction projects in Germany are reaching key milestones. In Dahlheim, the new daycare center is progressing rapidly. Interior plastering has been completed, and work on the exterior facade, including thermal insulation, is finished. Current efforts focus on installing ventilation systems and preparing for cement screed, which is scheduled for a one-week period. Following this, a sustainable exterior facade made of durable black locust wood will be installed.
In Hof, the SWP is developing the Ludwig-Ensemble, a residential and commercial quarter located in a historically significant area. The project involves the comprehensive redevelopment of buildings in Ludwigstraße to preserve the unique Biedermeier and Neoclassical cityscape. The development will include 29 apartments—approximately one-third of which are senior-friendly—and four commercial units. With an investment volume of approximately four million euros, demolition and gutting work have already commenced to reorganize and connect the existing structures.
