Construction leaders meet with new Prefect of Ascoli Piceno

Leaders from C. ED. A. M. (Cassa Edile Artigiana delle Marche) and Edilart Marche met with the new Prefect of Ascoli Piceno, Giovanna Longhi, to discuss critical issues facing the local construction sector.

The meeting focused on the needs of businesses and workers, workplace safety, and the importance of professional training and qualification for industry growth. A key topic of discussion was the ‘badge di cantiere sisma’ (seismic construction site badge). C. ED. A. M. was the first construction fund to issue these badges following new regulations requiring digital clock-in for workers on sites valued at over 500,000 euros.

The dialogue aims to strengthen cooperation between institutions and construction representatives in a region where the sector is vital for the economy and employment, particularly regarding post-2016 earthquake reconstruction efforts.
