Construction manufacturers announce technology showcases for 2026 German trade fairs

Major construction equipment manufacturers have announced their upcoming participation and technological showcases for the 2026 trade fair seasons in Germany.

Komatsu Germany GmbH plans to present compact solutions for landscaping, municipal, and urban construction at the GaLaBau fair in Nuremberg. The company will feature mini and compact excavators, wheel loaders, and compact loaders, with a specific focus on electric mini-excavators and digital 'Smart Construction 3DMG' tools to improve site planning and workflow efficiency.

The Wirtgen Group will showcase road and earthworks solutions at the NordBau exhibition. Their presentation includes Kleemann mobile screening and conveyor systems integrated with 'Spective Connect' for real-time data monitoring via mobile devices. Additionally, the group will highlight a compact machine trio designed for tight urban spaces, consisting of a Wirtgen milling machine, a Vögele paver, and a Hamm tandem roller. Digital productivity tools, such as the 'Smart Compact Pro' compaction assistant, will also be featured to automate density scanning and optimize asphalt compaction.
