Construction training programs launch in Spain and Venezuela

Various regional and national initiatives are underway to provide vocational training in the construction sector.

In Fabero, Spain, the ‘Fabero Antracita XVII’ masonry program has completed over two-thirds of its development. Funded by the Ayuntamiento de Fabero and the Junta de Castilla y León, the project has a total budget of 206,877.74 euros. The program combines theoretical instruction with practical work on municipal projects, such as rehabilitating the Town Hall bathrooms and constructing storage facilities for Lillo del Bierzo park. This initiative addresses high labor demand for construction workers in the province of León.

In Venezuela, the National Training and Employment Program for the Construction Sector has opened applications. Managed by Inces in coordination with several ministries, the program aims to train individuals without prior experience by integrating the knowledge of veteran workers. The curriculum covers diverse trades, including masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical installation, and HVAC maintenance. Interested applicants can register through official web portals or at Inces physical locations.
