Construction worker Maurizio Trenta dies after collapse at Trenzano site

Maurizio Trenta, a 40‑year‑old construction worker and resident of Trenzano, Italy, suffered a sudden medical emergency while working on the renovation of a house in the town. He collapsed on the site, and colleagues immediately called emergency services.

Ambulance crews from Trenzano, a medical car from Orzinuovi, and an air‑ambulance helicopter responded. Resuscitation attempts were made on‑scene before he was transported to hospital, where he died shortly after arrival. The Carabinieri of Chiari are conducting an investigation, and ATS technicians are also on site to carry out the required checks. The local community has expressed deep mourning for Trenta, who had celebrated his 40th birthday only weeks earlier.
