Construction workers injured in separate incidents in Venezuela and Mexico

Two separate incidents involving construction workers were reported in Venezuela and Mexico.

In Venezuela, 55-year-old José Sánchez was injured following a motorcycle accident on the Coro-Punto Fijo highway near Médano Blanco. Sánchez lost control of his Bera motorcycle, resulting in a slide on the asphalt. Emergency responders from Civil Protection and Polifalcón provided first aid before transporting him to the Hospital Dr. Alfredo Van Grieken with multiple traumas.

In Mexico, a construction worker is in critical condition after being shot in the head in the Alfredo Vladimir Bonfil delegation of Cancún. The victim was taken to the IMSS Hospital of Specialties. Following reports of gunfire in Supermanzana 308, municipal and state police, along with Civil Protection, responded to the scene. The Fiscalía General del Estado de Quintana Roo is investigating the attack; no suspects have been detained and the exact location of the shooting remains under investigation.
