Consumer goods companies launch major reward promotions in Ghana
Major consumer goods companies in Ghana are conducting large-scale promotional campaigns to reward customer loyalty.
Nestlé Ghana Limited has launched the ‘Milo Energy to Start’ promotion, which aims to reach over two million consumers. The campaign offers a variety of prizes, including cash, household appliances, bicycles, and an electric vehicle. A significant component of the initiative is educational support, with thirty families set to receive scholarships valued at GH¢10,000 each, totaling GH¢300,000. The program is intended to alleviate financial pressures on households while encouraging physical activity through sports.
Separately, GBfoods Ghana has concluded its ‘Akyɛdeɛ Sokoo’ national promotion for its Gino and Pomo brands. The campaign generated over 12 million entries and resulted in the distribution of airtime and household appliances to more than two million people. Grand prizes included a Geely Coolray SUV and fully paid trips to various destinations. The promotion was conducted under the supervision of the National Lottery Authority.
